VAWT&#039;s are just coming to market but are still in the under 100 kW power range.  Larger vertical turbines could generate the megawatt plus power required and not interfere with Uncle Sam&#039;s radar. A number of developments are underway that promise high performance and minimum environmental impact. Stay tuned...</description>
